Before You Write

Most questions can be answered by reviewing our route descriptions and included services. Here are answers to the most common enquiries:

Booking Process

Submit an enquiry through our website with your preferred route and approximate dates. We'll confirm availability and send a detailed information pack including deposit requirements, what to bring, and preparation advice.

Group Composition

All routes require a minimum of two participants. Maximum group size is five for most routes, three for the Skeleton Coast Expedition. Private bookings are available at adjusted rates.

Photography Skill Level

Our routes accommodate all skill levels. Beginners receive more hands-on guidance; experienced photographers get space to work independently with strategic input. Let us know your experience level when booking so we can tailor the approach.

Equipment

Bring your own camera gear. We recommend a sturdy tripod, filters for long exposures, and weather protection. Specific recommendations are included in route briefing materials.

Weather and Conditions

Coastal weather is inherently unpredictable. We build flexibility into every itinerary and often use dramatic weather as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. Refunds for weather conditions are not provided, but we work hard to maximise photographic outcomes regardless of conditions.

Our Location

Our office is located in Sea Point, Cape Town, with easy access to the Atlantic seaboard and central Cape Town. Most routes depart from this location.
